EFficial's ED6 build
Car: 89' Civic DX Hatchback (ED6)
Engine: BIG EMPTY HOLE!
ECU: PR4 (Non-Vtec)
Tranny: YS1 w/stock LSD
Ive removed the old DPFI D15b2 (selling the parts) And installing an engine out of a 90' Integra LS 2dr (B18a1 OBD 0)
The engine will bolt up perfect with those aftermarket mounts. i bought mine on Ebay and they work perfect. ($120)
Only thing is you have to do is hammer in a spot in the right side wall by the shock tower to make clearance for the Alternator Pully.
The whole engine sits lower and angled forward to let the hood close. Now i have to do the DPFI to MPFI Wiring Swap.
Heres the link to the DPFI to MPFI swap http://hondaswap.com/swap-articles/d...writeup-49557/
Done with the wiring and added a lil touch of my own to it, butt connectors for easy access
As soon as your wiring is done attache all the grounds taken off before (Starter ground to chassis and to Trans for + Battery Cable)
Turn the key and see if it cranks over! Mine did but it cranks @ Key Position 2 not 3 so i need to figure that one out....
Got it to spudder and fire a lil bit but died. Checked everything again and i found out my main relay was dead
($120 from Honda)
