Default Sticking Clutch issue...

Now I don't think it's the clutch since it is brand new, I do think my clutch cable is kinked or bent. It gets stuck in the same place all the time and feels like the pedal won't release and it will make it to where the clutch starts to get riding on. Anyone else have this issue or know of this. Any fixes that wouldn't involve replacing the clutch cable?? Thanks!

every clutch job i have ever done in an EF required a new throw out bearing return spring, at least in cars that had them. if the spring broke, it can cause the TOB to bind and make it feel like the cable is going bad. obviously its not easy to check this without dropping the trans, but it may not be your cable.
