So I am replacing my AEM CAI because I hydrolocked the last engine I had in it when I ran through a deep puddle. I thought of getting the water displacement valve sold by AEM 21-411 but I heard that it isn't 100% effective, and can actually deteriorate and get sucked into the engine. So i guess the best way to avoid Hydrolock is to get a SRI. It also seems that it may actually be cheaper and easier to install if I just get an SRI and sell the CAI than if I buy the valve.

SO... I was considering getting the AEM 22-411 SRI which was designed for VTEC del sols but I can't find it anywhere online. Some sites say the AEM 22-401 SRI "fits ALL Hondas" but the AEM catalogue says the VTEC model corresponds to the AEM 212-411.

So anyways, does anyone know what the diff between the two models is and if it makes a difference? And is there any place i can find the 411??

Alternatively, are there any other CAARB certified SRIs out there that would work that are not too expensive but perform similarly or better?

It will fit. It's just a 45 degree bend basically.

Do you mean the difference in SRIs is a 45 degree bend? Or that both are essentially the same exact tubing with the same 45 degree bend?

And Why can't I find the 22-411? Did it get discontinued or something???
