So I got this 94 del sol running a (I believe) obd1 p30 ecu. It's a b16a with what I believe to be a jdm exhuast manifold. The Mani has 2 o2 sensors in it one single wire sensor unpluged, and a 4 wire sensor that is plugged in. The car use to be, a S, Aka d15. So I'm using the stock wiring harness and jumped the vtec.

I did very little of the wiring myself, everything I have done has fixed problems. But I can not find info on the o2, if it runs 1 or 2 sensors, and if they are 1 or 4 wires. I'm guessing they are a 4 wire single o2. And that's what I got and my cel blinks for that. I bought a new one have yet to install it.
So the question!
Is there 1 or 2 sensors, is/are they 1 or 4 wires? Should I swap the exhaust mani for a single sensor app. Or is the jdm one ok even though it only measusres 2 cylinders?
Thanks all in advance. I need my car smogged and I'm barrowing a car to drive 90 miles a day to Work and back so any help is appreciated.

I have a 92 SiR b16a, it has a sensor at the bottom of the manifold, 4 Wire, two black one green and one white wire.

Thats the only oxygen sensor they have, you shouldnt have 2, some came with a Cat sensor which would put up a light on the dash if the cat overheats.

 

You need a new header with a 02 bung at the end near the cat. You only need 1 sensor, and it's 4 wire.

 

^ correct. you have the wrong manifold. sounds like you have a obd2 manifold. one 4-wire o2 is all you need
