-----550 injectors, skunk2 pro1 setup question----
P30'd 1.8L bottom end, unported b16 head, type r mani, bored TB, hondata s200 etc etc.
My questions are: are 550's too big, and more importantly (if they are too big) WHY. I need a better answer than---"don't use them".
I have done the research.
All people say "ya, they're too big" or "ya, they're just fine"
I want to know the reasons why they're either good or bad for my semi-built setup.

If I were to use 440's there would be no difference in power, even with a higher duty cycle?
I always thought smaller injectors with a higher duty cycle have better atomization. Am I wrong here?

Atomization has to do more with fuel pressure. The only thing you are really changing with injector size is how long the injector is staying open. You won't gain or lose any power between those two as you are nowhere near capacity on either one. The argument is how well it will idle, since the larger injector is firing such short pulses at low rpm. If you have the 550's already, they should behave nicely and you shouldn't have any problems, though, as that is not that large an injector really.
