Hey 4th Gen'ers:
Was at the wrecker's today and found a blue arm rest in a 4th Gen Civic Sedan. I'm typically more interested in 5th Gen pieces, but I feel the 4th Gen love on occasion.
It's not really my style to do this, but I'm wondering what 'market price' is for such an arm rest ... I don't have a sense at all of what this would be for the 4th Gen market. A quick search shows prices in the $100+ range, but I'm wondering how accurate this is. This is more a test of seeing whether it's worth my while to remove it, and the added hassle of selling it, than anything else.
It's condition was OK -- the fabric was worn, but this is not surprising. Plastics were in good, used condition.
Tips on the correct pieces to remove for a proper re-installation would be appreciated.

To clarify: I didn't take it out, so no pics. The purpose of this post is to gauge whether it's worth my while to do so.
I always sell mine for 50-60$, if it's pristine sure they will fetch 100$
The market is full of price gougers, takes them months to sell them for that much, most of the time they don't even sell them for what they want i'd rather just have cash in my pocket, it's pure profit anyways.
They are held on by four screws, two up front to in back.

I've sold a few. Mint condition ones went for $100+, not so good condition ones went for $20+. Junkyards here charge no more than $15 from my experience. Four screws and 30 seconds later they're out. I'm pretty sure you can sell it with the quickness as there's a quite a few guys looking for some and the rareness of them grow by the day. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the input, guys. I picked it up and it's now posted in the Honda Marketplace / eBay. Here's a photo for the rubber neckers:

Yep, there was one there with mudflaps ... only 3 out of 4 though. The sedan didn't have them. What else should I be looking for? I do like rescuing parts, FWIW.

Oh, do tell -- if my info is wrong, then I need to change my ad. I removed it from a sedan - if this will not fit the hatch or CRX, I need to know!
yes it will fit the following:
88-91 crx
88-91 hb
88-91 sedan
there are differences tho. the HB and sedan arm rests sit higher than a crx arm rest. i personally prefer the higher civic arm rest (thats why i have one in my crx). the main give away is that there is an ash tray on the back of civic hb and sedan arm rest, whereas the crx wouldnt need the rear ashtray.

ive seen one in a jdm cr-x sir arm rest with a ashtray because they had a optional rear seat and that was a smokers cr-x ....now they r extremely rare but do exist....the normal short cr-x arm rest came without ashtrays in them in non smokers cr-xs that came w or w/o the rear seat yes the hb and the sedan r higher but will fit all efs that i know of and might fit the wagovan as well but im not 100% but i dont c y it wouldent.. im not tryin to b a know it all crx-si-r for the most part u r right but i just got back from japan not to long ago and i used to think the same thing untill i found that out and this was the first time i put that info out... and DeSchlong i just checked out some of ur write ups in ur sig and u do alot of great work and ur the writeup king ..... good job
