Is there anything I have to worry about?

I have a 98 with a 99 motor.

Will they normally give you your bar tags or are
they really strict?

I live in SF, where do they normally do the check at?

 

you have to find one neir you heres the state ref number tho they might be able to tell you who close 18006227733 and as long as the motor has everything it would if it was stock then you should be ok no short cuts on the swap and no headers or intake unless its stock or has a C A R B legal sticker on it

Are they usually strict when they do the inspection?

 

it depends on the person doing the inspections. just make sure you have all the emission sensors and parts.

i was told i didnt have the sensor for my power steering, but they still gave me the bar sticker and just told me to find a sensor for it. took an hour and i was out of there.

 

Wow takes that long. And did you take it to a shop to get it inspected?

 

actually i was second in line. it maybe only took 30mins. it was an hour total at the bar station.

i had a buddy do the swap for me.

if you dont pass, theyll tell you what you need to pass. i think you get 3 tries. but i passed the first time, so im not sure.
