Ls overheating and heat goes away
What does it mean when my Thermostat goes almost to the H to overheating while driving normal and even sometimes when the temp. is normal, the heat starts to get cold. What is going on?
It means that for some reason hot coolant is not circulating properly through your cooling system. Air in the system can cause this and so can a bad water pump. Do not drive the car like this, you could blow a head gasket. There are many tests you should perform. Start by checking your coolant levels and then see if the pump is moving any liquid at all. You can check the system pressure as well. Post any new info you find.
NEVER drive a vehicle if the heater doesn't work after the car warms up, at least until you confirm that the coolant system is OK.

The upper radiator hose should be hot and the lower one should not be. Just to see if it's working you can loosen a radiator hose and a little water should squirt out. Post if the reservoir is empty or the coolant level is low.

The bleeder valve is often on the thermostat housing but it varies from motor to motor. I'm sure you can find many how-to guides for cooling system servicing if you do a search via here or Google and they'll explain flushing, filling and bleeding. What's much more important is the fact that your reservoir is empty and you need to find out how you lost the coolant. Bleeding it is pointless if air will just get back in again. When was the last time you checked the reservoir's coolant level? Try to locate where the fluid is escaping.
It looks just like the brake bleeder valves. If you run a Google image search for Honda Bleeder Valve, pics of them will come up. On a B18B, it's a (10mm?) brass nipple where the upper radiator hose connects to the motor, just above the tranny barcode sticker. It faces the radiator so it's right on the front.
Yoo've got a leak somewhere. Have it pressure tested and repair before the leak gets worse. Worse case you're burning it but I'd check for leaks first.
