Default 94 AUTOMATIC NON V TRANNY QUESTIONS

MY TRANSMISSION WENT OUT ON MY 94 ACCORD NON V TEC
WILL A 96 NON VTEC TRANSMISSION WORK AS REPLACEMENT?
OR WILL A 95 VTEC WORK EITHER?

JUST WANT TO MAKE SURE BEFORE I BUY ONE. THANKS.

i believe the 96-97 trans is different when it comes to plugs and all because it OBD-2.
A 95 will work. It is OBD-1 just like the 94.

'94-'97 F22 transmissions are the same transmission. With the exception of possible internal revisions over the years and the station wagon having a different FD. FWIW until recently our '95 EX had a '97 LX trans in it and it worked fine. Shift points are regulated by the computer. Ye Olde Search function would have brought up a couple of threads on the A/Ts.

What is the average cost to replace and install this kind of transmission?
