I"m assuming you're wanting to do this to remove the minimal mount of parasitic draw the pump has on the motor?
It's not worth it. If your concern is getting rid of the pump then just remove it entirely.

actually, i wanted to clean up my engine bay since its painted (getting redone: shaved) and tucked...
i had assumed that something could have been done, but guess not. i really dont want to go the route where i remove the pump and having to it harder to turn...
any ideas? tips?

If you're wanting to do a shaved bay then your best bet is to loop it and grow some muscles.
The only difficulty is when you're going slow in a parking lot trying to maneuver. It's not bad elsewhere. You can search the forums and read up on it.

i see... i already went the route of looping the rack and it wasnt my cup of tea since i do alot of city driving...
Well, I doubt there is even room enough under our dash to fit an EPS, because if you have seen one of those, it is like a huge starter under there, not to mention the wiring headache that entails. Even then you still would need to loop the rack and still drain the fluid and change it at whatever the interval guys are doing at that have it looped. So you need to decide what is more important. Convenience of driving in the city, or having a perfectly good looking tucked bay.

I have a CL1 Euro R Accord with factory EPS fitted...... I can definitely tell you it's not worth the trouble trying to get it to work in your car. You will have to modify the Headers to work with it for starters, it has it's own seperate ECU (which gives allot of trouble) a 3 way switch on the dash which makes the steering harder or softer and it's also wired into the OBD2 Port connector to flash Problem codes through a CEL type light in the dash. The steering rack / unit itself is huge -hence the need to modify the headers and would be easily seen at the back of the engine compartment.
I had another thought...... You may have to try retrofit a S2000 / EP3 one if you're really adimant on goin this route. CF4 Torneo / Accords & CL1 Euro R Torneo / Accords are only Right Hook...... unless you car is right hook you wont get the steering column shaft to mate up to the steering rack.

thanks glass.. my back up option was to do exactly what you said... luckly my shop has both cars in and the owners wont mind...
looking at the oem parts on majestic's site, i dont see a starter that tama mentions...
going back to the cf4 and cl1, stupid question- can i just flip it?

no, no, no, you misinterpreted what I said. It "Looks" like a starter under the dash. Meaning it is pretty big, and very difficult to fit under an accord dash.

i wish you the best of luck! that sounds like quite a task. if its not too much trouble, a write-up would be awesome. if not thats deffinatly understandable.
i will deffinatly be looking forward to hearing your results. and expect at least a shot of the engine bay when you are done

well, to be honest, the only kind of EPS unit that would be worth it for you is one that goes under a dash, just because if you are doing a wire tuck, having that in the engine bay would be the complete opposite of what you want. having said that......I do believe you may have to move some of the control boxes and such under the dash to another location. If you are getting rid of a/c and all maybe over to the right side? Or something like that.

Why would you go with the RSX set Up? I would attemp the MR2 EPS set up and and adda ABS box instead of changing the whole rack.
Yes, I have already Electronic Power Steering system in my Honda accord Euro model. It is such nice system. Electronic power Steering system is depend on your car speed and how much you turn the wheel. It is a good feel on road.
