Default My header sounds like bad bed springs on the freeway.

I have a Vibrant RH wHFC and on the freeway it sounds like bad bedsprings right underneath my center console. Is this a sign of a bad flex pipe? I have never heard of anyone having this problem so Im stumped.

Anyone have the slightest clue to what it is?

bolts connecting exhaust to header might be loose? they have springs that could vibrate irc.

On 2nd thought,it may actually be something with your shifter or something around that area.

Even if this isnt your problem, you should still look into it as it is a great mod. I did it and the car feels amazing. I did all three mounts though, the dog bone, front mount and lower torque arm.
When do u hear the noise? While crusing, accelarating, slowing doing? Only when u go WOT?

I have been thinking about the skunk2 mod. I just need another car to drive while that mount cures.

It happens only on the freeway at any speed that you would drive on the freeway. I think its just the freeway speed+ the little bumps that create that sound im hearing. Cause when im on the street at 40 to 50 I dont hear anything. Its seriously stumping me!
