WHAT IS THIS CONNECTOR FOR?!
I have this gray 18 pin connector by the driver's kick panel on my Civic. I can't find anywhere to plug it in. It's linked to a relay on the left side of the dash, and if I pull the relay, the car won't start. There's a constant hot wire on this plug, and I would like to know what it's for. It's a swapped harness from a 2000 Civic Si, in a 96 LX. I don't have power locks or a power moonroof. The relay it's attached to is one of two mounted together on the dash. Anyone know?
I swapped a B16a2 from an '00 SI, along with the dashboard and wiring harness. everything is obd2b now. I'm just having these lingering issues with shorts and things that were altered on the harness for an alarm/remote start. cut wires, annoying stuff. I think I'm just freaked out that there's extra stuff on the SI harness that my sedan doesn't have.
you sure its not ur diagnosis cable? cause i just took my em2 to a shop and theres always that cable there and thats what they use for engine light check ups and crap like that. i dunno i need to see a pic of it
