Default Neeeed Alarm help!!!!!

1994 civic si

when i first got my car it had an alarm with a aftermarket door actuators.. then after a month i did a power window and lock convertion with the OEM door actuators.. now my problem is where do i wire the lock and unlock alarm wiring on my harness?

i tried tapping on the power lock switch it worked with the alarm BUT when i went inside and used the lock/unlock switch it didnt work so i took the alarm wiring off and the switch worked again.. if someone know about this help me thanks!

If when you did the conversation you also installed the OEM door lock control module you connect the alarms door lock outputs to the green/white, [lock] and green/red, [unlock] going to the module, 6these should be the same leads running from the drivers door power door lock switch.

Did you also add the doors key cylinder switches? 94

yea i tried that on the wire that comes from the switch to the module, it worked on the alarm but when i tried to use the switch to lock/unlock it didnt work but when i took the alarm wiring off the switch worked fine, my car is parked on the street and my damn alarm is not hooked up.... is there any other place on the wiring where i can tap the alarm?

That is strange.

What alarm is it?

Are you using the alarms low current ground outputs for the locks, or are the relays for the old aftermarket actuators still in the circuit?

The OEM system only needs a low current ground to trigger the locks. 94

i'm not exactly sure how your system is wired up, but you could try diode isolating the wires coming from the alarm.

have you tried hooking up a pulse timer????? those work on almost anything .used with a 12v relay may help

Most likely the aftermarket actuators had a set of relays controlling them, if you did not take the relays out of the circuit and just connected the two leads that went to the aftermarket actuators to the inputs to the OEM door lock control module, there will be a problem.

What is the make and model of the alarm? 94
