How to get rid of auto shifter box.
Hello H-T fam!
well I am in the works of making my own jumper harness and tucking everything away ( again) cleaner and alot more accessible/ removable.
I have searched and found nothing but dead links
I finally want to get rid of this box but dont know what wires I am supposed to solder together.
I know i have to run the reverse lights from the tranny (B16 swap)
any other info is welcomed
thanx!

"-Connect the 2 larger black wires that go to the shift position switch in the automatic. These wires are for the starter. In the auto car, they are only connected when the car is in nuetral or park. Solder these two wires together and heat shrink. Use a butt connector if you want to just ghetto rig it together.
-You will need to ground the Green/White wire from the shift indicator switch, this indicates that the car is in "park", and will allow you to remove the ignition key. The alternative is to swap to the 5 speed ignition switch, but you may not want to end up having separate ignition, and door keys if your car currently uses one key."

just goin on what the guys writeup said i would have to imagine you don't do anything with the extra wires. as far as the location of that green/white wire, i assumed he meant it would be part of that cluster of wires you have there in the picture.
the other guy who is doing the same thing posted up the link he used.

now seeing as how his car isn't starting at the moment it doesn't exactly speak well for the accuracy of that sites instructions lol. but hey it is another resource to check out at any rate
