I have a 96 civic hatch DX. I need a passenger door for it and I came across a 2000 civic Si door. My question is will the door fit correctly I believe it will but I just want someone to confirm this. Also the Si is obviously power window and lock...so If I used the Si door how hard is it to convert the door to manual lock/window if it is possible?

only the 96-98 coupe doors will fit 2000 are too long

Well it looks like you are IN LUCK IF YOU HAVE A 3 DOOR DX. I looked up the Honda OEM part#s for a 1996 3dr DX, and a 2000 Si THE PART#S ARE THE SAME

BUT IF YOU HAVE A 4 DOOR DX THE DOORS ARE SHORTER and you are SOL.

i believe you'll need a ex harness i havent done this myself yet.. i plan to

 

they will fit i have a 99 door on my 97 they are the same and you don't have to change the harness

 

The body of the door itself is the same for all '96-'00 Civic coupes and hatches. Sedan doors are shorter.

The wiring is where you can run into problems since the harnesses changed in 1999.
