Default 98 accord synchronizing piston spring

I need a synchronizing piston spring for my 98 accord 4cyl F23. Its the little spring located inside the rocker arm. Anyone know where to get one, or have one I could buy?

There's no spring in the rocker arm, what are you talking about? Post a picture please.

Are you talking about the big spring that runs through the center of all the rocker arms?

Assuming your engine is the VTEC engine.....

http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...ARM+%28VTEC%29

number 4 is the rocker spring, and 8 and 9 is the valve spring.

I am assuming you are talking about 4.

That's the same one I just asked about.

No, the spring I am referring to is inside the assembly and not available separately from the dealer. It is located between the timing piston and synchronizing piston A.

Ahhh, the spring that pushes the pins out when VTEC engages.

Nobody sells those, you have to take apart a head in a junkyard to get them.

wait check out the link i provided on majestic, what about number 1?

That is the whole rocker assembly, if you only need one fixed, you could replace the whole thing with that? I dunno, that looks like the whole thing.

Yes, it would include the part I need. But I don't want to spend $200 for a spring.

I've got a few extra valvetrains, but not sure if they're in my garage or in storage. I'll take a look for you this weekend. If I find one, you can just cover shipping.
