Default ???? pm9 to pm5 ??

hi there well my question is if i change my ecu (91 civic std 4 speed) to a dx ecu (pm5) would it jus be a plug and play ?? cause i read that if you change ur ecu to a pm5 you would get better"" thottle response is much better, off idle and downshifting. It feels alot more responsive than before. The rev limiter on the b1 ecu was around 6600 rpms(jumpy tach) and the b2 ecu has seen 7000 so far.""

I went from the std(pm9) to the dx(pm5) and I noticed better idle. It didnt jump around as much. I think you need to make sure its from a 5 speed if you have a manual trans.
