No Horn!!!
Hey whats up? Ive got a 94 Accord and the horn doesnt work. i have checked the horns and tthey are good. Does this year have a horn relay under the dash? i Have no power to the buttons on the wheel but i do have power at the horns.
How did you check power to the buttons? Did you remove the airbag? The button is the ground, when you press the button, it completes the ground. If you ground out the button and the horn honks, then your problem is the horn contact in the wheel.
You gotta pull the airbag out to test it. Airbag is held on with two torx screws.
I don't want to give you ill advice, but personally, I would move the airbag to the side while you test the horn, but most would advise against that because you're supposed to disconnect the battery when touching SRS components to avoid the chance of deployment.

i know how to check the primary side of the relay so i guess i will check it and then i should be able to here it clicking. if the problem is in the wheel will i have to remove the wheel cause thats a lot of work! if it comes to that i will go aftermarket.

Tell you the most common problem is the horn contacts.
Check your horn fuse first, if it's good, press the button. If you hear the relay clicking, the horn contacts are good. If you don't hear any clicking, your horn contacts are bad. The problem is usually in the airbag clockspring, but sometimes you'll get lucky and it'll be in the button itself.

well i can tell the clockspring has been messed with. i believe the car was in a wreck and the steering wheel replaced. the access plate on the wheel are missing the screws and it looks very new
SLOMOFO: HEY CUZ ALSO I WANT TO KNOW IF I INSTALL HEADERS,EXHAUST,INTAKE,AND LARGER INJECTORS WILL I HAVE TO HAVE MY ECU REPROGRAMMED WHEN DOING THESE TYPE OF MODS THAT EFFECT THE AIR AND FUEL RATIOS?
I don't have a wiring diagram on this PC, I can post it for you tomorrow. The button connects directly to the airbag clockspring though. Did you hear a click though when you pressed the button?
Edit: If you want to install intake, header, and exhaust, you don't have to do anything with the ECU. If you install injectors, you don't have to do anything either, but I would socket your ECU and run a fuel management system to adjust your basemap. Generally, larger injectors aren't needed for small, ineffective modifications such as intake/header/exhaust.

I am also having trouble with the horn. I have not found the answer by searching the old posts and FAQ.
The horns are good, they work.
I hear the relay click, so I'm guessing the buttons are OK and so is the steeing wheel connections. What should I test next?
