Default Blox Competition Coilovers?

anyone on here use these wondering how they perform and ride for the price have been looking at used F2's and might buy some zeal's but still just trying to find the route to go to save some money and get what i want

i know you cant compare these to zeals lol but what could you compare these to? d2? or ksport? or at least i hope something else or we can just end this convo! im guessing so there prob just an ok setup to lower your car not so much to autox once or twice a year

they have a deal on JHP right now LCA's and comp series for 645 thought that was a decent price

let me know if you guys have used these

thanks

Look into this instead:

People think very highly of these and they will probably ride and perform better than the Blox will. Also, those rates are very stiff. Are you sure you want those rates?

what rates? of F2 and zeal? ya i know that i want something that handles well and ya i have looked into progress i would rather go with those than blox for sure but looking more into the next bracket of coilovers for handling like F2's Tein SS, Zeal, Tanabe something along those lines just wanted to hear what people had to say about these blox coilovers but still searching for a setup very interested in the zeal b6 at this point

Does ride quality really matter for "competition" parts? They're supposed to make you faster 'round the track, right?

Handles well under what conditions? Smooth track tarmac? Targa conditions? Sweepers or hairpins? Or street use? Any particular suspension setup is only at its best in a narrow range of conditions. If I were you I'd call up a company like Progress or Koni with a rep. for good customer service and have them help you to figure out spring rates.

Another thing to keep in mind is that stiffer isn't necessarily faster or 'better handling.' In rough conditions a stiff setup is going to have trouble keeping the tires in contact with the ground and is going to perform worse than a softer setup.

Just for free LCA's with bushings that will fail in 12 months or less. Save your $$ and go with another brand.

I bought these coilovers a couple of weeks ago and there great for dd other then being a little stiff IMO. Competion series (12k front 10k rear). And for the price that I bought them for $760 it's a good deal. Wanted to go with something other than skunk2 and a little cheaper. I would recommend these coilovers to someone that is using them for dd/ weekend track racing.
