The sunroof has a drain hose. Sometimes they get clogged, that might be the source of the moisture.
Find and fix the leak first.

As far as fixing it you could replace the whole roof panel, or cut out the rust and patch it back up. You could also try using some rust converter, It converts rust on a molecular level. just make sure to follow the instructions and make sure to paint over it (with some sealer) or it will just suck up moisture.

Good luck

If I was to try the rust converter where would I get it. And is it like a bondo material or what. And if I were to cut it out how would I replace the metal

Rust converter is more like a clear spray paint than anything else. I haven't been impressed with it in the past (it works but because of the way rust eats down into metal, you only get the top layer even if you wire wheel it etc. first) -- nothing will be as good as actually removing the rust. In order to replace that metal, you will probably need to weld a new piece in which is going to require the removal of the windshield. I'm not sure about the difficulty of replacing the whole roof but I doubt it would take much longer and you wouldn't have to mess around with filler afterwards.

Oh, and the sunroof will have four drains -- one at each corner. When I unclogged mine it stopped my leak problem.

someone painted over rust without treating it... sucks..

but anyways, if u need pieces of a crx cut off to re-weld areas let me know. i got a california chassis thats ready to be cut up and sold for specific area rust treatment if u need.
