Default reputable egt guage brand?

I want to get an egt guage....what are some brands that will give me an accurate reading and won't break or give me problems. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Defi, Greddy, HKS, SARD, Integral are excellent.

The Apex EGT is cheezy. The wires for teh sensor melted on both my friends FD3S RX-7's.

Did you not NOTICE that I said RX-7? They run a lot hotter than Honda's!

Autometers arent bad either. I used to have one and had no problems with it.

I would seriously recommend any EGT with memory and peak hold,I have a greddy and it works just fine with me. I wouldnt reccommend an autometer because they dont have peak hold and memory, so if any thing happens you cant really tell untill its too late.

Greddy is nice especially with the warning feature. I would still have mine if they didn't steal, that must show it's a good guage since they went looking for it.

I use the Autometer Phantom series EGT gauge with the competition probe and it works well (consistent at least as I don't have another way to measure it).
