Can i daily drive a 92 dx tranny with a 4.714 FD??????????
Ok instead of swapping to an ex tranny, i want to try the SRR 4.714 FD from AJ-Racing. I dont know of anyone who is running one of these so who the fugg knows what they are like for highway driving. Around town wont bother me, cause ill hardly go over 55 or so while cruising.
Now im not sure what tire size the stock ratios were meant for, 175/70/13??? but i will be rolling 205/50/15 azenis on K1's.
I really want to try this but i need some advice/insight/edumacation.
Thanks for the help guys.

of course you can, why not.. you need to make compromises for ultimate gains in performance... I would swap out my FD if I had the loot, but I dont.
if I did have the dough, you damn well know I would rock the 4.9 ATS in my GSR tranny!

Hey Mike:
I had an ITR tranny with the closest gearing that Honda offers and I dropped in an ATS 4.929FD in it.
I drove it daily and I loved it.
You might still want to try and find an Si tranny then drop in the SRR 4.929FD - you will crap your pants after one spin with it!
The FD will help you rip through gears better, but the RPM will still drop the same when shifting into the next gear.
