My brother is looking to paint his 95 Accord head lights. Has anyone done this? Also, what about the corner lights? Can those be taken apart as well and be painted? He has Euro clear corners in if it matters....

well, it's a bitch, but it can be done, but i don't recomend it...i attempted this one time with the stock corner lenses and tried to take them apart without breaking the clear lense, didn't work too well, and then there really isn't an easy way to paint it because there isn't a clear area to tape off...but if you want to, go for it...with as many problems as i had just ******* around with the clear corners, i can only imagine the trouble the entire headlight housing would cause....

 

the headlight housings are pretty easy. the corners are a huge pain in the butt. It's worth the $40 for the JDM fakies.

 

anyone know where to get the one piece jdm's? or even a knock off..

 

there's no such thing as one peice JDM's for a 5th gen.

hey whats up i have heard of people paiting them before and be pretty good when they come out, if you have troube getting the clear part off what they did was heat it up in the over for a little bit at low temp that should work.

 

I did my head lights. You just cant rush it. It takes a long *** time to tape off everything. Then all i did was buy some Depo corner lights.
