What to replace my carpet with?
I have a 1991 civic ef 4 door sedan.
The carpet is coming off around teh door sills and under the pedals,
I was thinking i would just remove all the carpet and buy some truck liner spray, coat the inside of the car with it and get rid of carpet all together?
What do you think i should do? sound like a good idea?
Im a student so i dont have alot of cash, and i just though this might work
Moar replies the better, Thnx

Not a good idea, it would cost more to to cover the floor with "truck liner spray", "Armourguard" then picking up a used carpet at a pick&pull.
Your carpet is also sound abatement, remove it and things get a lot louder.
Have you got pix of the problem?
If carpeting is pulling out from under the sill trim and places like that, a good fix is to add underlay, [raise the carpet] also good for better sound abatement.
I found this out some years back when we were doing a complete soundproofing on an Integra, the customer had a problem like the carpet was too short and was pulling out from under the trim, once we covered the floor pan with Dynamat and added 1/2" jute carpet underlay, the old carpet fit like new, even had to trim it a little.
Will be doing the same, [jute underlay] to my 94LS when it comes out of the body shop in a week or so, mostly for noise, although the carpet is starting to pull out a little in a few places. 94
