So i have put 3 speed sensors in a friends car and every time they work for a day and quit.. What is the problem. I know the vss is a common problem but i have never had this problem before.. I believe its a 92

How do you know the speed sensor itself is failing? Does the speedometer quit working? If the cruise control still works, it is not the speed sensor. Year and specific model help. I had a problem with corrosion on the printed circuit board in the gauge cluster that caused the speedo, odo, and tach to stop working.
