driving around with 3 quarts of oil. good or Bad
well my sister been driving her RSX for a couple of week now with barly 3 quarts of oil and i just found that out today. she told me her car was shaking crazy. so today i drain the rest of the oil out and refill it with 5 quart. and i was wondering if that shaking thing going to be a permanent problem. hopefully nothing's bent inside the engine.
after I refill the engine with oil, the engine still vibrates but a little bit less than last time.

could be from the oil but haven't heard about it before....could be a busted motor mount or a tire that is out of round or unbalanced.....its possible that she bent a valve if she was driving it hard
Hopefully it end up ok!
Make sure you tell her to check the f***ing oil once in a while.
And also make sure you tell her to not be like the people that come into my work that just add a quart of oil every once in a while just because without even checking the oil.
IDIOTS!
Hope it is ok man!

Bro, I worked at Jiffy Lube as a side job for almost 4 years. I've seen all the stupid *** retard horror stories. Including the lady that filled her engine with water to the tippy top over flowing because her water temp light came on. I mean in the engine too! She removed the oil cap and proceeded to fill it to the tippy frickin' top!!
As long as it doesn't go under the lower dot on the dipstick you are ok... but you shouldn't keep it close to that lower dot for long!
my car shakes a little too i was just stopped at a stop sign & it was shaking then when i pressed the gas it was fine. i checked the oil when i got to my job & it was low so i topped it off. now it doesnt do it anymore

you will burn more oil if you drive it hard and use vtec often....this is common sense and not a common problem......
