88 Civic SE hatch rad
hey everyone,
just picked up a new rad for my civic, it really needed to be replaced, anyways, i've been trying to figure out what hoses come out from the bottom of the rad, on the inside of the engine bay, theres 2 hose connections down there and I cant figure out where they might go, they're about 3/4 inch.
if you dont understand what i mean, let me know and ill take some pics

Hrmmm.
Do you have an automatic or a manual? There should be 3 hose waternecks/nipples down there:

| |------| |--------------------------------| |------

The one on the very left is for the lower radiator hose. That will connect straight up to the one that you pull off your stock one. If you have a manual transmission, you don't need to worry about the other two. Just leave them open. They are for the auto tranny cooling.
If you have an auto tranny...well, then.. I don' t know; I've never owned one of doze thingies. Just put these to the same hoses as your old radiator when you pull it out.

alright,
I have a manual tranny,
guess I must have picked up the rad for an auto

thanks for all the help everyone
