b16a2 in 90 teg, obdo. yes, odd swap, i bought it like that not running, i dont know the details. got it running, but not correctly at all. idles nicely, but revs very slowly, takes a good 3 seconds to go from idle to 5k rpm. drives, but barely pulls up a small hill in 1st gear, like 5 mph or under. check light comes on once you drive, but little red light in ecu is broken, so i dont know whats wrong. doesnt burn oil or coolant. any ideas on what the problem could be??

i was thinkning maybe vtec could possibly not be working? could that cause this?

 

what do you mean when you said red light in ecu? if your CEL comes on while driving then try to jump the ecu and get the code. thats your best luck as of now

 

before 93 integra's have the window on the ecu with a little red led that blinks the code, and that little light is broken. there is no diagnostics check plug like on newer ones.
