I am getting ready to sell my 924 turbo porsche and hope to get 5500 for it and I am looking at mr2 turbos but I know everyone that has had one the engine goes bad and I also really want a hatch 92-95 and I would like to know if any of you have any for sale or know anyone that has one for sell thanks alot

I drive an 1991 MR2 and I'm quite happy with it. The only people I know who have had engine problems boosted too much for too long on a stock engine. Mine is rebuilt and I have no problems. I also find a mid-engine a little easier to work on. However, I am about to purchase a 1992 HB for the winter because an MR2 isn't great for the snow. So, my advice to you is find a dealer auction, or go to a local car dealer and offer to buy an old hatch from them. Like a Honda dealer probably would have a HB from a trade that they might want to get rid of. But, an MR2 is a good choice too.

try junk yard...i'm lucky enough to find a wrecked 97 hb for 1500....spend about 1000 to get all the replacment parts for it(windshield, front bumper, hood, fender and airbags) and installed most of them myself...so a 97 civic hatchback with 50K miles for 2500 for me..

 

the hatch is all stock. if its for sale by this weekend, i'll post up some pics.
about the trade, i'll have to think about that if i have the hatch for sale. i'll let you know if its up for grabs.
