Timing belt noises

I just got my engine back together and running yesterday, i have driven it a little to get a few miles on it to let it settle in a little.
I noticed a noise coming from the engine bay that sounds a little like the buzzing noise of a bee but louder, upon closer inspection it looks like the timing belt, from the intake cam pulley to the water pump it is a blur like its resonating somewhat, but if anything when me and a friend set the tensioner we set it too tight, could this be because its too tight?
Also i dropped my exhaust cam (with gear still attatched) while the engine was stripped and now the exhaust cam gear has a bit of a wobble but i dont think its this.
any help much appreciated
thanks

A buddy of mine had a similar issue and I tracked it back to the inner timing cover. When re-assembling the inside cover he didn't secure it properly and it was hitting the cam gear creating what I could call a 'buzzing' noise.
An overly tight belt will cause problems, a "wobble" of a cam gear is not a good thing.
Either of the above can cause "noise" and noise may be the least of your worries. 94

Well it cant be the wobbling cam gear causing the noise as the belt passes over the intake cam gear which is running true and then starts vibrating.

Oh,
i was reading about wobbling cam gears and apparently back in the 90's some of the cheap'ish decent cam gears used to wobble, causing nothing other than premature wearing of the timing belt (not that i want that to happen).
but this will be sorted out, i just wanted to know what the noise could be

The wobbly gear is probably throwing the belt out of whack causing it to hit the timing belt cover...
The loud Bee buzz is the probably timing belt hitting the cover. Id pull the timing belt covers to inspect.Youll probably see where theyve been touching...
Good luck!

I have the timing belt covers off atm so it cant be that...I thought it was cathing the valve cover but it doesnt look like it, il take it off though anf have a look for marks
also what could cause that is the cam gear cover behing the cam gear, that plastic piece.... when i switched mine cam gears i went with edelbrock ones and got a new timing belt, so i put everything back together and noticed that piece was making that buzz sound.. so i removed it and it was fine afterwards... check that too!!
