Default '93 Honda Accord Cruise Control Problem

I am looking to buy a 1993 Honda Accord LX. It runs GREAT! I love it! The only problem (and it's small really) is that the cruise control doesn't work. The lights come on in two places saying it's on but it doesn't engage. I searched this site and saw a fix for a manual transmission but this is an automatic. Any ideas on possible fix and how much it would cost?

Thanks,

I just put the down payment on it so I'm definitely going to get it. Just curious how to fix the Cruise Control.

It operates with engine vacuum. Check the vacuum line to the unit (just behind the driver's side headlight). Also check the cable connection from the unit to the throttle.

I just finished sorting mine out. 'RaisedLocal' is correct. Its a vacume leak most likely from one of the hoses that connects to the unit. Check out all the hoses.
