Default personal steering wheel adapter hub

Hey im looking to get a personal steering wheel for my DC2 but im looking at NRG steering hubs and trying to figure out is the quick release required or can you just get the hub adapter from nrg without the quick release option?? Anyone who has a aftermarket steering wheel chime in. thanks

I have the personal steering wheel and love it. You can just use the hub and its not a must to use the quick release. although if your car is anything other than stock, i would shell out an extra 100 for the quick release. Saved my car once.

I also have the quick release on my personal steering wheel. I still need to buy a hub though, i think I'm going to get the nrg slim hub. I had the wheel and quick release on my 240 with an hkb hub it it kinda felt like ti brought the wheel out to far towards me so I'm going to go with a nrg slim hub. You should look into those bud.

I have the Momo Monte Carlo with Momo collapsible hub. The Monte Carlo is almost identical to the Spoon and Mugen steering wheels and back in the day the cost was only something like $150. Far less bling than most aftermarket steering wheels I have seen.

I will go take some photos after a cup or two of coffee. However I am not sure how exactly to post those photos of the wheel. Please instruct me, I'm not so good w/computers. Also the car is a mess, and burried in snow. The plastic steering collum covers were also removed about two years ago when I needed to replace the turn signal leaver as the headlight switch was broke. As I said in my introduction thread yesterday, the car has been seriously neglected for the last five years, - just hopefully no one flames me.

I'm hoping these photos work. Again the car is a mess and has not even been started in a couple months. The two buttons do not come on the Momo Monte Carlo, they were added for cruise control. Also the Momo hub does not feel long enough as I an 6'2" and sit back a little (not reclined) but I like the wheel a little closer to my chest. If the wheel was just 1/2" closer to me I feel I would have more a little more strength (power steering has been removed and I have upper back/shoulder problems and now carpel tunnel in my left wrist from muskie fishing and driving with no power steering. Also the wheel is the larger Monte Carlo of the two sizes available, I believe it 350mm.
