They look nice. In my SCC a while back they got one (V6 Accord Auto) to run times very comparable to a JRSC GS-R. Times where in the low 14's with trap speeds in the high 90's I believe.

Whatever the case I am sure that would be really fun to have. Kinda like a Grand Prix GTP, but without the Buick motor.

Well, the thing is not many people have them because the V6 auto trannies are too weak to handle the extra power. Plus the amount of power it gains is not wort the money. You would do better with a turbo setup where the boost does not all hit at once and x the tranny.

the v6 transmission can handle the power when an oil fluid cooler is installed. however the supercharger does not produce the power that it should for the money involved. a shop locally has been working with me in the effort to produce a turbo setup for the 98 and up v6 this setup relocates the battery to the trunk and has equal length manifolds that come together and places the turbo in place of the battery with the piping for the intercooler down through where a cai goes through and thenback through that same hole into the throttle body. but it is a long way away from being finnished. we are just now starting to design the manifolds. we have also looked at doing twin turbos but there really is not enough room to fit it all in there.

the cl type s 6-speed made 310 whp on its first run....they haven't tuned it yet

i think the SC will be a better match for the new Accord with the 6 speed

I'm not sure if I'll get one, but its' nice to know its out there. I'll go supercharger with this car if I do anything. I don't want any hassles associated with a turbo kit anymore.. i just want to bolt in on and forget it..

I'm going to see if it's a dealer option w/ comptech, like some dealers do with comptech stuff, this way it can be thrown in with the car payment. I'll get the oil cooler if thats the case too..

just wonder how i'm going to explain the slight blower whine and extra price on the loan.... LOL

if that is the same turbo kit that i saw it is crap. I think that one only had a single turbo and only used one side of the motor to boost. I can see how this would work but i think that there would be a lot of negative effects, but i am not an expert so do not attack me if i am wrong.

So who else makes a header for the new V6... 1200 dollars is kinda pricey for a header(s)...

that is what i thought but still it would have poor flow characteristics and would create turbulance in the piping.

Hello all. I've been a member of your forum for a while now but this is the first time I'm posting. I come from the v6accord.com forum but I come here all the time to read some of the great info you guys have. I was at Comptech last Friday and I took some pics of the Supercharged 6-speed CLS. I was there to talk to Shad, head engineer at Comptech, discussing about the SC install on my Accord. After we finished talking about my SC, Shad told me that I can take pictures of the 6-speed so I can share with you guys. I know you guys have been waiting for the dyno and I'm here to tell you that they already have a preliminary dyno. Shad told me that they were getting over 310WHP boosting 5.5PSI! And this just right after putting the SC on so he said this is not properly tuned yet. I can't wait to see the numbers after tuning! He promised he will be sharing the final dyno with you guys. He told me that this car was a blast to drive and he even offered me to take it for a spin. I declined the offer since I know once I sit on that 6-speed and drive that puppy, I will never go back in my Accord I see some of you guys have the 6-speed but I'm not sure how many are thinking about getting it. They are looking for a Novermber release so it should be here anytime soon. Anyways, enough of the talk. Below are the pics.
