b series stroker guys come in
what length rods are you guys using? i see kits come with 137mm length rods and use a short piston. why not use a shorter rod and a normal height piston to get a better rod stroke ratio? Im new to the whole stroker idea so if some of you guys that have done it can just clear some things up thatd be awesome
Shorter pistons are used to prevent the piston dome from smacking the head and valves.
If you used shorter rods and normal pistons, you defeat the purpose of using a crank with a taller stroke.

How? The stroke is still the same the rod stroke ratio would just be different
