are you talking about converting to manual tranny on your LS block, or do you already have a car w/ manual tranny and you are getting a block from an automatic LS?

I just came from a junkyard that has a AUTOmatic LS. I was wondering if got the block from that TEG, would a manual tranny(any B-series) slap on to it without a problem. If it is not too much trouble, I might just go there and get it.
Oh and do you think its worth $150 for the whole block and parts of the head (someone already scavenaged parts of it). Its a 93 w/ lik 195K.
Would it be worth it to rebuild?
