Civic cracked manifold
If you can weld it, then weld it. Assuming it's a stock header, it doesn't seem like a big deal to me. I had my turbo manifold and my o2 housing crack at the internal wastegate hole if that makes you feel any better.
Hi temp epoxy willl not hold, trust me i've tried it. This is because this is a high pressure area and most epoxy's are not made to withstand that. Your best bet is to weld it, or look for a used one as i know a new one will run at least 300. Stupid Honda and their design flaws.
I dont know about the US, but here in Canada the Manifold is covered under a 8 year or 160,000 km's warrenty, if its cracked they'll replace it free of change as long as your within those guidlines.
And yes the cat and Manifold are all 1 part, not sure the cost in the states but here is close to $800 from honda. around $250 for a decent aftermarket one.

I have a 01 and a 02 LX, both near 150k miles and the crack just now became noticeable on cold start on both. What a shame to wast a great performing cat- i'll try my welding skills but in the past thats never worked out well
