Ok, well we got a Honda Accord at our shop i think its like a 2001 it has a 3.0 6 cylinder the body is totaled and my friend wants to buy it only for the motor. He has a 00 Civic Si with a Single Cam in it and wants to put that 6 cylinder to a back wheel drive transmission and put in the EM1.

He wants to know pretty much is their any other Honda Mini Vans that have a transmission thats back wheel drive and will bolt to a 6 cylinder?

First and foremost, your friend is an idiot - /discussion.

Secondly - there are no "back wheel drive" transmissions in any Honda minivan. I'm actually not even sure what it is you or him are referring to. The only thing that's even remotely possible is finding the drivetrain from a AWD Vue and trying to make that work.

Honestly, if he wants to put the J30 in the back of something, put it on a sandrail and turbocharge it.

I think you're quite confused, and your friend is even more confused.

Save for the S2K and NSX there is no REAR WHEEL DRIVE (not back wheel drive????) Honda/Acura.

There are AWD platforms but not in any mini vans. Just the TL, RDX, Element, Pilot, etc

The swap he is trying to do is a J series swap with a CL-S 6spd transmission. Which is not RWD, but FWD.

I told him just keep it Front wheel drive with the J series 3.0 6cyl but he wanted to see if their was any way of putting that motor rear wheel drive.

I guess not. and yes that is what i told him just get the complete S2K Drivetrain.

No one has done a S2000 drive train swap in an Accord. And I haven't seen it in a Civic either. And from all the fab work I've seen with S2k swaps it requires quite a bit more work than just dropping it in.

I've seen it done, but only on an offroad drag car that they had to refab the center console.
