Icon6 Replacing shocks. Opinion needed

I have an 01 ITR and it still has the stock shocks that came with the car from day one and the car has over 108k miles on it. I need to know if anyone has any good ideas on the best way to get new ones. I don't track the car and drive it daily on long commutes to work so any suggestions would be great. Also what else should I replace besides the shocks so the cars handling will stay the same as it was meant to be? Thanks

Koni yellows are a good choice. People have had good results and they are adjustable.

Why not just use OEM? They are perfectly fine for dd and occasional track time.

Do the springs need to be replaced as well if I got the Koni yellows?

No. However, most would opt for adjustable coil overs.

i agree with the suggestion about koni sports BUT based on your post i would consider the str.t, it's a better shock than oem, non adjustable but around 300 a set versus 450 for the sports. if you really don't plan on changing out your spring rates the str.t's will be completely fine. now you just have to find out if they are made for the type r rear arms

I've got the Bilstein sport shocks (yellow) and I'm very happy with them. They have nice ride comfort on the street, and firm up nicely when pushed on the track. And, like most brands of aftermarket performance shocks but unlike OEM shocks, they have a lifetime warranty for the original purchaser. Save your receipt!

You might want to also consider replacing your suspension bushings at this time.

Hey I think you should send me back my Integra Airbag that you have owed me for about 4 months now ....

I sold him an itr wheel and accidently sent the wrong airbag so I sent him the proper one and I have not seen my old one back yet. I gave you a while and still nothing... it has been months....

I would appreciate it & sorry to ruin your thread.
