Just looking for some insight...

Long story short, water got into my IM during the recent storms we had in CA. Mechanic said water caused the #1 piston to seize which then cracked/broke the rod. Here is the question. How much do you think I will be able to sell my car? Wifey wants to get rid of it.

Car is being towed back home from the mechanic so will post pics soon. No dings/dents. Everyone who has seen it says really clean for a 95. Interior is the cloth no tears.

 

i say just buy a stock motor and throw it in. i would say 2-4k if you're lucky. since the motor itself is already close to 1800

 

Do you think it would be too much to ask for 5k and I would throw in a stock 98 DB8 GSR also in white with leather interior?

Was going to use the DB8 for stock parts or vice versa. Only bad thing with the DB8 is a bad passenger door and quarter panel (hit and run). Will post pics of both soon.

 

Most people might not be in the market for 2 cars thats the only problem...You might be better off trying to sell them separate...You never really know though....Someone might want them both...

 

Try to get 3k for each! if you can fix the DB8 you might be able to get more.

 

i'd take the motor from the db8 throw it in the two door the take the motor that's bad fix it and throw it in the db8 then sell them both for much more
