ITRCA Changes Ahead
Due to other obligations (work & family) ITRCA is becoming an increasingly lower priority with me. It needs more attention and to keep it alive it must progress and change with the times. In order to do this, ITRCA will be changing hands again. This time Trey Commander (Honda-tech name "Asahi", used to be Carlex) will step in and take care of the club. He is very active on HT and an avid ITR owner, I know he will do and excellent job. A posting will be put up on HT later today.
Please welcome him into this new positon.
Thanks,

Hey Everyone, Here is what to watch for.
We are getting ready to make some changes to ITRCA. To do so we will be moving servers and putting up a place holder page for a week or so. We will have a Link for new forums and a link to the registry explaining our plans for it. To explain the plans to you all here, we are writing a new registry in PHP that will be a little more strict who it allows to register (The current registry is just as good but PHP is easier for those involved). This may take a few extra weeks. We will notify all members in the current registry to re register their cars once it is ready. This should clean up bogus registries as well as prevent them in the future.
Additionally there will be a link to contact us if people are interested in helping with the graphic design or adding content. Please feel free to contact me through IM or email. We can use all the help we can get and look forward to lots of input.
The site will be evolving so if you have suggestions please feel free to toss them out.

I started cleaning out the DB a while ago, but it's pretty tough to catch them all. BTW there were about 700+ entries at one point If we assume 80% are real entrys that only accounts for about 11% of the ITRs in the states.
maybe i can get "re-added" to the registry as I was somehow removed.

Sounds good. Won't a lot of users be deleted though? I know a lot of people just enter and never check it again.
We will send an email to everyone notifying them to reregister. I would say a lot of the people registered don't even have their R anymore. Consider it a little house cleaning.
Asahi...drop me a line next week...want to talk about assisting the ITRCA and its members with sponsorship from Cobalt. The NSXCA, S2KCA, BMWCCA, PCA, PBOC, NASA, SCCA, OTC, and other groups are already on my roster...would like to get the ITRCA on-board.

This is great but what if I don't know my ITR number
Do I have to have it to register?

Out of curiousity, why don't you have it? But no, there's just going to be a review process. If we required any information it could be faked no matter what we required (ie, enter 1578 or whatever number pops in your head)
. Oh well I've since adapted. See my self appointed ITR number in my sig. It's been there for awhile now

Purchased the ITR w/o the badge on it

I bought my ITR w/o an interior, so no badge. I need to order one from Acura. Anyone ever done this before and know how much they run for? I guess I can just get it engraved
