Default oil on spark plugs but good compression

Im having so many problems with my civic. It has a b20 bottom end built with wiseco 8:5:1 compression pistons. i recently had my turbo rebuilt because it was leaking oil into the downpipe. so replaced seals and cleaned it up. put everything back together and still leaking oil into the exhaust. guy told me i must have excessive crank cask pressure causing the drain line to not drain properly. started the car and felt air coming out of the hose fitting on the valve cover by the oil cap, so i pulled the plugs and noticed oil on 1,2,and 3. did a compression test and it was good accross all cylinders. 180 on 1,2 and 170 on 3,4. and help would be greatly appreciated.Any other way to check crank case pressure?

i would check your o-ring seals on your valve cover and do you have any sort of crankcase ventilation?

Thanks for advice, but what gets me is the air being pushed out of the vaccuum ports on my valve cover at a idle. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the PVC valve hooked up to the vaccuum port on the intake to pull the excessive pressure out? If it is pushing the air out at idle, I could only imagine under any load.

do you have an oem or aftermarket valve cover? i had the same problem and the oil was seeping into the plug wells due the an aftermarket tenzo valvecover not being machined right. it actually shorted out my coil!

at idle it will push air out. when you step on the throttle it sucks air in. it is recommended for turbo setups to have more then one crankcase ventilation. i just pieced my catch can setup and installed it recently. but again im not turbo. it was just for the heck of it

Any other suggestions. O was reading about the two fittings on back of the block to run to a catch can. Does anyone know a part number for fittings or what they come on so I can explain to the dealership?

Just a suggestion, could I pull off my valve cover and start my car to see if relieving the pressure stops my car from smoking?

prolly not gonna find them at the dealership. you are gonna have to drill and tap your own holes or have them welded in. you can AN fittings all over. jegs, nopi

ordering it online is cheaper then buying it at a local honda dealer.

here is the stuff you need excluding the catch can and hoses/clamps

i ordered my stuff from this website

I ordered a restrictor just to see if it helps. On the hot side of the turbo, it is just a piston ring right? The seals are to prevent oil from entering the compressor? I was reading that journal bearing turbos need 30 psi to be sufficient.
My car is at 85psi at warm up then 45 at closed loop idle. Maybe it is just getting too much oil? Maybe? Just trying the little things first before I order a $550 catch can.

Thanks for the info. I'll prolly just price one together and just order the can. I'm waiting to see if my restrictor fixes or helps the problem. My turbo was leaking oil with the -3an line and even more with the -4an. I'll let you know when I get it and we can go from there

ok. bringing this topic back up. i pulled my motor apart today and pulled the pistons out to inspect my rings... all of my rings are good, cylinder walls still look good, no noticable scratches or defects. im going to go ahead and replace the rings and sleeve my block while its out,but i need to know if anyone has any suggestions on why so much air is being pushed out of my valve cover. i know peolpe suggested crankcase ventilation and i agree, that would help releive some of the pressure, but i want to figure out what the hell is causing this, this was not a problem until recently, so something is not right. thank you

which side of your spark plugs is the oil on? is it on the side that the wires go onto? if so, its your tube seals on the v.c....is your pcv valve still good?

The oil problem isn't the big issue right now, more than likely it is just the gasket, but what I really need to know is what's causing the air coming from my valve cover, it's just way more air than what is supposed to be coming from there.
