ITR Expo 10 current status/update
Here is the update on EXPO 10 that I found elsewhere. I know many are interested. This was posted 1/26/2010.

Expo 10 would be the 10th anniversary of the event, so we want to do it with a bang. Many of the current Expo committee members cannot keep doing this either, so in a way, this event set up the possibility of many of us going out with a bang too and leave a potentially good note.
However, good dates at many large tracks are incredibly difficult to get unless you had an event there the previous year and so on. For example, we did VIR 2 years in a row because they invited us back for a similar date, and we decided to do it.
We had a couple of dates available for Honda's "home" track of Mid-Ohio, including the late August date you saw earlier (Aug 23-24) as well as an early May date. However, business requires money. Mid-Ohio is no exception and costs a lot to do. We are realistic on what we can afford based on our event's history, and are currently working on an effort with something that will offset many of those issues and save it. If it works, it will make the event one to really remember. If it doesn't, we will have to go for a Plan B.
Running this event is never simple, and none of us make a dime on it (and in fact, usually lose money, at least I do). Usually right up until the event, I'm pretty burnt on it, but once at the event, I'm reminded why we all go to the event
So, that's where we stand. This is not a thread for highly opinionated people to chime in and tell us how to do what we do. I don't mean that in a rude way, but I've seen how these threads go since 2004.

Well, if this does end up being the last Expo, looks like I'll absolutely have to show up and support. Been wanting to go since I was an owner, never had the opportunity. Looks like the Canadian crew will have to reassemble and represent.

Regardless, the amount of time put into making these things happen requires a year, so that counts enough for me, ha.Got your PM, will respond accordingly, thanks Ken.
One of my buddies with an ITR wants me to go with him since he heard this might be the last one also but my car is not an ITR its an CTR i hope that will still be fine aslong as its an R? For sure we'll show some love from the west coast and show some technique on the track :D i'll keep posted on the this page to see where it all happends at.
Make the trip!! You will NOT regret it! Expo is not limited to ITRs or even Hondas for that matter. Expo 7 was my first time driving and it was with a stock LS. I had a blast and will be back every year
We need to exceed this number.
