Pics of 05-06 17" RSX-S wheels on a R?
I doubt you're going to find a lot of folks who have done this. First, they are 17". Most folks think 17" wheels on a DC2 are just too large (I tend to agree).
Second, the OEM RSX-S 17" wheels weigh in excess of 22 lbs. That's a heavy wheel to go dragging around on a motor that doesn't have a lot of torque in the first place.
The 16" 02-04 RSX wheels don't look too bad, and they are pretty light to boot. I've seen a few of those mounted, but never the 17's.

me personally i like nothing bigger than 16's. my mugens feel alot lighter on their feet than my jdm 16's, are you on stock suspension? to me it sounds like your wanting to fill the fender gap without lowering those wheels are to heavy

Have you guys ever thought that maybe someone doesnt care about how fast their R is going to take them to the grocery store and they would like some 17" -S wheels on it?

Not to mention that 17" wheels just don't look that good on a DC2 chassis.
Yeah, can't see why anyone would swap to a 5-lug setup just to run a set of heavy 17" RSX wheels, but honestly nothing surprises me anymore.
I couldn't imagine how slow a EM1 would accelerate with those 17's. You'd need to hit vtec every gear just to keep up with the mom in the minivan at the stoplight.

Name a couple. It's not like it once was. What can be found in 17" also can be found in either 16" or 15" (Honda sizing).
Most, if not at least 80% of the best performance tires on the market, come in either a 205/45/16 or 215/45/16. Most still also come in a 205/50/15 as well. Honestly, 17" tires don't give you an advantage in performance tire choices until you get up to much larger 17" sizes (that won't fit on a DC2).
Plus, a 15" or 16" combo will be lighter than a 17" combo.
Still, my list wasn't comparing 16" vs 17" tire expense. I really had 15" tires in mind--in which case, the 15" are still cheaper than 17's.

Yup, there was/is a red EM1 that had those wheels a couple of years back. It was/is owned by Starla. MugenSiGrl (I dont remember her nick).

She even got a spot on Super Street:
