yea i was afraid the light brightness would be reduced dromaticly but i first did one light and compared it to the other and they didnt really change much i believe cuz its gloss paint plus i left the curves chrome. and yea i do need to get clear lens but dont know where to get some without needin to buy halos or other lights.

IMO it just makes the headlight look old and kinda dirty looking. as well as the light input being reduced. but to each his own.
its your car and if you like it, thats all that matters.

yea i guess i wanted to try it out cuz i had an eg befor i got my ef and they look sick on eg's. plus it is time to get new lights so i just wanted to mess around before i went lookin for new ones. now i kno to keep the new ones clean
I prefer stock headlight look on EFs. I'm trying to find some used stock lights for my CRX right now cuz the guy I bought it off put some cheapy projector headlights in there and their light output sux *****.
just buy the pair... its not that expensive plus they come with clear lens.
idk if the lights are the same as my ef but
1)i remove the metal brackets
2)heat it up with a small heater or whatevers ( easier to open it up)
3)opened it up
4) use thin sandpaper lightly scratch what your goin to paint
5)tape up what will be kept chrome
6)paint ( i just used spray paint)
7) let it dry
8)heat it back and put back together ( so it will seal better)
9) place back the metal brackets
