Default F22B1 in EG Project/Info Thread

Hey guys,
I have mounted, wired and configured the F22B1 (from a '94 Accord EX Manual) into a '95 Civic DX Automatic. My Accord was up for winter and I have plans to do a J series RWD project someday. So the motor and trans were just asking to be put into my EG. I still have some work to do before it is on the road. The majority of the auto/manual conversion and the modifications to fit the engine are complete though. The axle geometry seems to be good, the shifter cables work nicely (routing was difficult but is crucial).

Main Components I used:

Mounting
> Innovative 92-95 Civic, 94-01 Integra Conversion Mount Kit for H22 Swaps (Steel)
> 90-93 OEM Accord Drivers Side Mount Bracket
> OEM Prelude (H22a) Rear Engine/Trans Mount Bracket

Drivetrain
> H22 Custom Swap Axles
> 94 Accord Clutch Slave Cylinder
> EG Clutch Master
> DX Accord 5spd Trans
> LUK Pro Gold Clutch

Other
> 94 Accord Throttle Cable
> MSD Blaster 2 External Coil
> OEM EG Rad
> Acura Legend A/C Condenser Fan (Front Mounted, Push)
> DC Header for Accord combined with o2 mounting pipe from accord exhaust system allows for a bolt on exhaust

If anyone is thinking about this swap, is in the process or are just curious, feel free to ask

I posted more for the purpose of people needing pictures of certain things, or discussion on the specifics of the F22B1 in the EG. I really didn't think I was the first or it was the most extravagant swap.

I did this swap it runs good. I could out run most b series swaps. I turboed it and would run 7.8 in the 1/8th. fun swap f22 can handle boost and nos better that other honda engines due to the stock low compression

Yeah maybe someday I will end up boosting it a bit. It ran really strong when I had it in my Accord...really took a beating. I would think 250-300whp would be safe and streetable.

Yea, the F22B1 has cast iron sleeves, 8.8:1 compression, it makes it's 147 ft. lbs. of torque at 4,500rpm, you can find complete, low mileage engines for under $500. The aftermarket support is decent too, better than a few years back. KMS engine development and Bisimoto engineering have a lot going on.

How much where the axles and mounts? And did you have to use those other mounts too? Cuz I'm taking one from an Acura CL and don't know if I would use the same mounts as you did

Does the eg wiring harness plug right up to the motor??? Please I am really wanting to know ..
