New to the forums here, and I have a question. Do EK seats from a 00 civic EX fit directly into a 91 EF Hatchback? Or is modification needed

modification is needed for any non OEM seats
your safest and best bet is to do a seat pan swap.

i got ek's in my rex and they sit rediculously high i hate em...but then again i didnt swap seat pans yet....could be why

 

EF stockers are better than the EK seats. EK seats are the worst ones Honda ever made

After about 5 months of having them. I'm finally starting to notice their a bit high.

If you are doing this swap, shave off some of the bottom seat foam!

the EK seats do suck though. They don't cup your ***, instead you basically sit on a bubble.

 

both eg and ek seats suck. eg seats fit fat people with no head adjustment and eks are just lame. Get some 88-91 Si seats and youll be good. Especially if it goes into an ef because those seats belong there.

Ek's are great cars, but the seats suck!!!!!!!!! Big time!

They are always the 1st thing to go if i ever have a set in any car!

you could also find first gen integra seats. i have a set and they are pretty comfy. They are pretty much like da/ dc seats with a mix of ef seats. they sit you up a little higher but not much.

 

I think ek's are the worst cars honda ever made lol the seats are higher than any other that i know of

i used to have some 2000 celica seats in my hatch, had to modify a little but those were the closest thing to racing seats from a factory car, there so damn comfy, i wanna get some more for my rex

yeah i bought my car and it had ek seats when i got it and i want them gone they suck horribly and you cant sit straight up bc they sit to high i want to get a set of ef seats as soon as possible for cheap

 

theyll bolt in but youll need longer bolts for the rear 2 bracket holes. i have ek seats in my 91 dx. im 6 ft 4..they are tooo ****ing tall! but theyre better than the flood damage seats i pulled out that bitch lol
