GSR SWAP just dies after driving ?!?
Ok ... Here's the run down ---- I have a GSR swap in my 90 crx Si and it was running great till today. I was headed to lunch from work and as i left a red light the car started to sputter bad and had NO throttle responce ( thought the cable came off ) then it cut off and my main fuel pump relay was clicking when i pulled over car still on BATT on ignition. So i cut it off and looked it over seen nothing wrong. Tried starting it back up and just turns over unless I feather the Gas Ped. then it will start and run. Well I changed out the RELAY and on the way home tonight it did it again same thing relay clicking when car shut off. So I give it gas and it starts back up. ----------------------------- Now to the swap details to help out on trying to solve this---------It's a GSR in a 90 CRX Si, BONE STOCK with cam gears , Y1 Cable trans, BUT I AM RUNNING ON A PW0 ECU AND HAVE NOT JUMPED IT TO OBD1, OBD0 B16 INJECTORS with resistor box, ALSO as the swap is new the Vtec is not wired in yet as for the knock sensor but I DO NOT REV THE CAR PAST 4k. Still trying to get the Vtec done .... ANY BODY KNOW WHAT THIS MAY BE I'm lost I thought it was my fuel pump but that doesn't seem to be it or it wouldn't run like it does or so I think. PLEASE ANY HELP WILL BE TAKEN WITH OPEN EARS AND ARMS !!!!! THANKS GUYS IN ADVANCED
ANYthing ?? i've checked the harness several times and all my grounds are tight It seems to be loosing fuel pressure after driving it but will crank up and run fine. I'm just really frustrated with this problem I have went over this car 3 or 4 times can't seemto find anything wrong .... any help ??????
You have a lot of mismatched parts going on, get some obd1 gsr injectors, eliminate the resistor box. Get the p72 obd1 ecu and the obd0-1 jumper harness.
Are you throwing any ECU codes? swap out your throttle body if your able to.

I plan on jumping it to obd1 ASAP just can't do it right away ... The motor runs really really good it's just all of a sudden come up with this lil hick-up.

you're a brave person. i bet your ECU hates you right now. seriously - just finish the swap.
Fuel pump relay clicking?
Are you sure its that relay making the noise?
No your fuel pump is bad when there's power to it, and its off.
of course it runs like poop, your fuel pump is turning on/off the whole time. I would bet you don't have enough pressure at the rail. easy test.
Why your relay is clicking - thats a good question. try wiring the ECU that controls it right......

I'm running the obd0 Dizzy from a B16a
ok. so only after you drive, then the clicking starts? and you lose fuel pressure? clicking of the fuel relay would cause low fuel pressure. but if you lose the pressure and THEN it starts with the clicking, some else is going on.
Dude, seriously,
GO ALL OBD1 PARTS.
That dizzy will have to go once you get the p72, and im assuming your using the obd1 fuel rail that came with the intake manifold right?
Bottom line is this, get everything AT LEAST obd1, then feel free to use b16 obd1 injectors and dizzy if you want.
I had a similar fuel problem recently. i was using obd0 injectors with an obd1 rail, on an obd0 intake manifold. With this combo, i was flooded with gas into the cylinders, i guess too much flow. In your case, it looks like too little flow.
In other words, your air/fuel ratio is jacked up.

Hook up a fuel pressure guage and duct tape it to the windshield. Then go for a drive and see when/if the pressure drops too low. I have been told that the symptoms of a bad fuel pump can be strange. Do what others have suggested and try the obd-1 ecu and dizzy.
-Have you replaced your fuel filter?
-Try resetting your ECU
-You could always run power direct from the battery to the fuel pump to determine if it is main relay/fuel pump wiring issue.
4g4dcruisen - I have been using a 94 integra gsr fuel rail on my obd-0 b16 for like 5 years now whithout any problems. All aftermarket fuel rails are made for all b-series, so that isn't an issue. Your problem was most likely not related to the fuel rail, but a leaking injector/seal.

u dont necessarily gotta go obd1
check ur dizzy to make sure every wire is good
i had the same problem wit an lsv set up
i had to play with the gas peddle when it wasn movin or it would turn off
n it was 1 of the dizzy wires
