fan dont come on till 3 quarter of the temp gauge
Gauge maybe.
Have you checked the actual coolant temperature?
The rad fan should be coming on at around 190-200 degrees F, check coolant temp. when fan turns on. 94

more than likely the gauge sender is going bad.
usually when the fan switch goes out it's an all or nothing type thing.
But like fcm said... checking the actual coolant temp with an external gauge is the best way to make sure you're not damaging anything by running too hot.
