I currently just changed my timing belt on my lsvtec and all of a sudden have a ideing problem .. all the vaccum lines are good ... only does it when the car warms up then its bounces all around .. the ideing was good before i changed timing belt . i dont think the timing belt would have a problem with the ideing of the car . if you turn the throttle body screw out it idels fine .. did the timing right lined crank pulley up with mark on cover and cams TDC and put the pins in to hold the cams .. any hints .. thanks alot

 

timing can affect your idle. double check everything and use a timing gun to check your ignition timing

 

check your dizzy if you need to turn it for advance or retard. also check again for your timing marks to make sure that everything is pointed up. and if you want.... check your fuel pressure to make sure your not running lean.... but i don't think thats the problem.
