A few questions for u guys
I just got a garrett ta0301 out of the local junkyard for $25.
I have a 2000 Gsr that is bone stock and im wanting to boost real bad. My plans are to road race this car do i want a small responsive turbo to do it and i was looking to get a GT278rs for the job. What i was wondering if the ta0301 is too small for my goal of 300whp i think the specs are .48 turbine and .42 50 trim compresser(please correct me if im wrong) what is the ta0301 good for if not 300. Also i want to know what u all think about the compresser as i found what i think is grease smeared inside of the housing because there is very little shaft play at all.
